My friend was tracking all of it in her notes app, and her birthday was coming up.Which lotteries are open tonight, which ones close first, what is already on the wishlist, what was worth it last time. For anyone seeing that much theater, all of it lives in scattered notes and memory, and the lotteries close whether you remembered them or not.
A gift card felt lazy for my friend's birthday, so the notes became an app instead, revealed from behind a stage curtain with four questions and a no-peeking rule.
A single-user web app behind a passcode that is hers alone. A nightly scraper keeps every Broadway lottery current, push notifications nudge her before the urgent ones close, and a blitz mode walks her whole list one tap at a time. Shows she has seen land in a ranked canon with per-category ratings, and a year-wrapped screen turns it all into a keepsake.
Next.js and Supabase underneath, with read-only Google Calendar access so show dates place themselves.
